Las Americas International Airport Dr. José Francisco Peña Gómez  (AILA-JFPG) is the most important in Santo Domingo and one of the main and largest air terminals in the Dominican Republic. It ranks second in passenger flow in the country with flights to 33 international destinations and has a cargo terminal where the largest volume of air cargo in the country is handled.
